WHAT's YOUR EXERCISE PRESCRIPTION?

Find out what you need for your body and mind to stay
healthy, happy and strong.

To help you get started, here are some guidelines for planning your weekly exercise program.

There is a difference between being active and getting the right amount of exercise to stay fit, healthy and free from chronic mental and physical disease.

World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines state that every adult body and mind requires the following each week to stay well, fit and healthy.
  • Muscle strengthening activities involving major muscles groups - twice per week
  • Vigorous cardiovascular exercise - 150 minutes per week

For complete mental and physical healthcare, exercise medicine offers specific prescription for your individual mental and physical healthcare needs. This includes mindfulness practice, breathing exercises and awareness along with cardiovascular and resistance training. Let us help you connect the dots for complete exercise medicine healthcare.
