Director and Co-Founder, The Exercise Therapist, The Thrive Clinic Katie Stewart is an experienced Accredited Exercise Physiologist, who co-founded The Exercise Therapist with her business partner, Lisa Rowley, in 2014. After moving to Perth in 2001, Katie established The Beach Lifestyle Club in Cottesloe. It fast became a hub for premium servicing, personalised exercise prescription, group training and programs that deliver results. She sold the business in 2010 and has since then found inspiration and opportunities to make significant contributions to illness and injury prevention through the development of The Exercise Therapist and The Thrive Clinic.
Katie is The managing director of The Thrive Clinic, and has an extensive private client base as The Exercise Therapist. She also manages The Exercise Therapist's commercial programs such as RunFree, while kicking her own goals such as running in the New York Marathon or completing the Ride For Youth.
The Thrive Clinic Manager Courtnee Farr is our resident Thrive Clinic Manager and Exercise Physiology guru. After graduating from The University of Notre Dame in 2015 with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science and Graduate Diploma of Clinical Exercise Physiology, she found her passion in chronic disease management and prevention, mental health, and retraining the biomechanics of postural imbalances. Courtnee combines evidence based practice and valuable experience to adopt a whole person, holistic approach to each client.
In her spare time, you will find Courtnee making the most of her sleep-ins, baking, and hosting dinner parties for her friends and loved ones.
Junior Programs Manager Teisha studied at The University of Notre Dame, Fremantle, graduating from her Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science in 2014, and Graduate Diploma of Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2015. Teisha has worked at The Exercise Therapist since 2016.
Since working at The Exercise Therapist, Teisha has found her passion in rehabilitation of all chronic disease conditions, musculoskeletal injuries and mental health issues. Teisha part supervises The Thrive Clinic as well as manages DVA and private clients. She is also the manager of the adolescent programs which include Junior RunFree, Adolescent Strength & Conditioning and The Breathe Easy program.
Outside of work, Teisha is associated with the Perry Lakes Hawks Basketball Association. You will often find her on the weekend cheering on her basketball team.
