St Hilda's Junior School - Body Basic's Program
St Hilda’s Junior School Co-Curricular Course
Body Basics is a term-based program designed to develop knowledge and behaviours that give children the motivation and confidence to enjoy active lifestyles. Establishing positive active habits in children provides them with the skills to live happier and healthier lives.
Exercise has also been clinically shown to improve academic performance in those who don’t engage in regular sports.
The Body Basics group class is constructed and delivered by our Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEP’s), and involves exercises aimed at enhancing the participants physical, cognitive, psychological and social development.
These programs are offered as co-curricular activities at Scotch and St Hilda’s Junior Schools, and onsite at The Exercise Therapist, located on the ground floor of Cottesloe Medical Centre.
